Please join us for a parent workshop with Jeff Sosne from The Children's Program on "TANTRUMS, MELTDOWNS AND RAGE: PARENTING STRATEGIES FOR CALMING THE STORM.
"TANTRUMS, MELTDOWNS AND RAGE: PARENTING STRATEGIES FOR CALMING THE STORM We will review strategies for catching your child before the storm, calming a child who has passed that “critical window,” and preventing future meltdowns from occurring. We will also review strategies for parents to stay calm in the face of a child’s outburst." This workshop is for parents of children of all ages with a focus on exploring strategies to help a child recognize increasing frustration levels and how to support them in the process.
If you are interested in the workshop, which is free of charge to families, please sign up here
We understand that coordinating childcare can sometimes be a challenge and we will offer a parent night out event the same evening to provide child care (for a fee). If you are interested in the childcare option, please contact Ashley Parsons to sign up your child(ren). Please note that we will need a minimum of 11 children to offer this option and children must be 3 or older.
