Shawn has a passion for creativity, collaboration and building dynamic company cultures. Serving as U.S. Advertising Director for both Nike and Levi’s, Shawn has created award-winning communications campaigns for some of the world’s most iconic brands. As a marketing professional for thirty years, Shawn feels that thoughtful communications strategies and campaigns have a powerfully transformative impact on an organization’s values and culture. For the past two years, Shawn has played a leading role on the GIS Marketing Committee. He is passionate about raising awareness and enrollment for GIS by accentuating the core values that differentiate us within the Portland scholastic landscape: GIS is a globally diverse community dedicated to excellence, creativity and innovation across academic disciplines. In 2006, Shawn co-founded Pacific Rim Winery in the Northwest, which was ultimately acquired by one of the largest US wine companies. In early 2015, Shawn launched a new venture, becoming President and Co-Owner of Scott Paul Winery. As a business owner and entrepreneur with a specialized corporate background, Shawn is dedicated to helping organizations differentiate themselves and thrive on limited financial budgets. Shawn can often be found in his home with his wife, Britta, and their two children, Sofia and Luca, enjoying long conversations and good wine with close friends.
