Preschool & Extended Care Assistant
The oldest of five, I grew up in a big household, with a big heart for my little brother and four sisters. Early on, I was always around to help my siblings with anything when they were younger. I found that being the oldest, I had a responsibility to help, and be there for them whenever they needed me. I was originally born in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, where I spent the last 12 years working as a medical assistant. In August of 2014, I decided to move to the USA to become and au pair and continue studying English in school. I was fortunate enough to be matched with the perfect family, with whom I extended my stay with after a year, nannying for their sweet boy.
It was during my stay in the States, where I met my now husband. In March of 2016, I moved back to Germany to resume my day job as a medical assistant and I decided to go back to school. After two years, I graduated and received my diploma from evening school. Now, I live in Portland, OR living my best life with my husband. My other hobbies include, spending time with my friends and family, hiking new trails around Oregon, and enjoying weekends at the coast. I absolutely love working with kids and am honored to be apart of the GIS community.
