Andreanna Staubly

1st Grade Teacher, German Track

When I was little, my father was a doctor in the US Army and we were stationed in Southern Germany. I immediately fell in love with the culture, the language and the delicious food and was even able to witness a historical event — the fall of the Berlin Wall! All in all, I have spent more than ten years living, studying, working, and teaching in Germany and consider it my second home. Most summers you can even find me volunteering at a children's summer program in the Allgäu.

I became a German K-12 teacher in 2007 and have been teaching ever since. I feel fortunate to say that I have taught many ages, in a couple of different countries (USA, Germany and Costa Rica), and really love being able to do what I do.

Languages have always been my passion and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and learning and know that it is a never-ending endeavor. I am very excited to now be a part of the GIS community and very much look forward to working together with you all to give our students the best learning experience possible.
