Peter Manicke

After graduating from GIS in 2006, I’m excited to be back and working in supporting roles in Early Learning and as the assistant to the Honorary Consul, Blake Peters. Because of my background at the school formerly known as GSP, I have spoken German fluently almost my whole life. The bilingual education I received from my excellent teachers provided the foundation for many of my best life experiences, and I’m excited to be sharing my knowledge with the next generation of students now!

I remember being in second grade when the school moved to the Murray Building; my class numbered just 8 students, and the entire student body occupied less space than the Early Learning wing does today! To see how GIS has grown in leaps and bounds since then makes me feel very proud to be part of its continued success and development going forward.

Since attending GIS, I have gone on to study German at Lewis & Clark College, graduating in 2019. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, cooking and watching my favorite sports teams.
