Originally from Boston, I first experienced German culture when I was four years old and my dad’s job gave my family the opportunity to move overseas to Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Those formative three years influenced me to study German in addition to Public Communication at the University of Vermont. In 2019, I happily returned to the Black Forest for a study abroad semester in Freiburg.
I come from a big family with 45 first cousins (many of whom have children of their own!), so being surrounded by kids has always felt natural to me. I believe bilingualism is a superpower and am thrilled to join a community that teaches children how to become curious, compassionate, and globally-minded individuals.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and crafting. On the weekends you can find me on the coast or in the mountains!
