Thaddaeus Smith

My passion for languages and world cultures began when I was growing up in Atlanta, Georgia teaching myself German at the age of eight. Even as a child I knew that I had a love of learning and later decided that I wanted to turn my passion into my career by entering the field of education. Aside from English and German, I also speak Spanish and some Mandarin.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in German and International Trade, a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and Oregon licensure in both teaching and school administration. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my partner and our dog.
