In Germany, it is a long standing tradition to give children a Schultüte on their first day of school to “sweeten” their transition into grade school. To follow this tradition with our students, we offer all our kindergarten families to join us for an evening of cutting and gluing to create the perfect Schultüte for their little one. Kindergarten teachers will stand by to help and assist!

(Schultüte = a large cardboard cone, attractively decorated and filled with toyscandies/sweets, school supplies, and various other special treats.)
