Chinese Adult Class Information

Beginner Level: This class will provide you with a foundation in oral Chinese and an understanding of how Chinese sentences are formed, giving you the tools you need to explore the language and communicate effectively. After just 15 classes, you'll be able to ask and answer basic questions like, “Who, what, when, where, and how?" in Chinese. 

9/27/23 - 1/24/24; No class 11/22, 12/20 & 12/27/23; to be held on Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m.  

Intermediate Level: In this class, we will build upon the foundation of basic questions to enhance your ability to describe objects, articulate thoughts, and convey emotions within the context of everyday situations. We'll also explore Chinese characters through enjoyable activities like art and board games, enabling recognition of up to 28 characters.
