Financial Aid
German International School is committed to making our programs as accessible as possible.
At GIS, we’re committed to supporting families who believe in our mission but may need financial assistance to make enrollment possible. In addition to flexible payment plans, we offer need based financial aid to help ensure access to our language immersion and IB programs.
While GIS does not offer full scholarships, many families receive partial aid packages that provide meaningful support. Currently, more than 16% of GIS families receive some form of financial assistance.
If tuition feels out of reach, we encourage you to apply. All financial aid applications are reviewed confidentially and evaluated with care.

January 21, 2026: Financial Aid applications are available in FACTS
January 21 - February 23, 2026: in order to meet the March 9th deadline, submit your Parent Financial application online FACTS. The processing fee is $45 and payable to FACTS.
March 9, 2026: Application Deadline. Review begins.
March 13, 2026: Notification of completed Financial Aid Awards are emailed.

If you are interested in applying for financial aid through GIS, please request information from the Director of Admissions, Elizabeth Gillespie.

To demonstrate need, families must complete an online financial aid application through FACTS.

Based on the completed financial aid application we receive, GIS will communication the amount of aid by email. By March 27th, Financial Aid acceptance letters are due in the FACTS system. Online enrollment must also be completed by this date.
