LERNEN NACH DER SCHULE EXTENDE

The German International School (GIS) offers a variety of out-of-school time programs. We strive to provide a high-quality extended educational experience for all of our students.

In these programs our spaces are divided by age groups to ensure age-appropriate levels of playtime and curriculum support. See below for more information about each type of program. Please contact the Extended Programs Manager with any questions at extendedprograms@gspdx.org.

After School Clubs or AG’s (Arbeitsgemeinschaft)

GIS strives to offer the most interesting, academically challenging, and fun after-school clubs for our students. We offer both in-house GIS-run AG’s as well as partner-led options with local and nationally-recognized organizations.

Clubs run during the three school-year terms, fall, winter and spring, and include around eight weekly sessions that are an hour to an hour and a half each.
