Extended Programs

GIS offers a high quality Extended Care Program for students who need care after school lets out, during day-off camps, and summertime.

All programs focus on independence, consistency, and socialization. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and fun atmosphere for all children attending GIS. This is done daily by providing homework time, hands-on special projects, free play, and outside or gym time.
We follow all GIS school rules and policies listed in the Parent Handbook. We are licensed through the Oregon Child Care Division and follow all state health and safety guidelines.

Extended-Care Hours

Before Care begins at 7:40 a.m. on regular school days at no cost to GIS families. Extended Care begins at school dismissal time and ends at 6:00 p.m. This care is provided on all regular school days. For any in-service days or breaks, separate sign up is required. Please review the school calendar for the no-school days that extended care will be available. 

Extended Care Options/Fees

The scheduling options provide families with the ease of selecting the number of days per week and the specific days their child(ren) will attend for one flat monthly rate. A 2% discount is available when families pay in full upon registration. Please note that the scheduled option does not include any in-service days or breaks, separate sign up required.

There are two options available: Care from school dismissal until 4:30 p.m. and care from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.

Twos

4:30 p.m. Dismissal Plan Rates:

• 5 Day Schedule: $2,700 per year, $270 per month
• 4 Day Schedule: $2,300 per year, $230 per month
• 3 Day Schedule: $2,000 per year, $200 per month
• 2 Day Schedule: $1,300 per year, $130 per month

5:30 p.m. Dismissal Plan Rates:

• 5 Day Schedule: $3,350 per year, $335 per month
• 4 Day Schedule: $2,950 per year, $295 per month
• 3 Day Schedule: $2,650 per year, $265 per month
• 2 Day Schedule: $2,050 per year, $205 per month

Preschool - Middle School

4:30 p.m. Dismissal Plan Rates:

• 5 Day Schedule: $2,700 per year, $270 per month 
• 4 Day Schedule: $2,300 per year, $230 per month
• 3 Day Schedule: $2,000 per year, $200 per month 
• 2 Day Schedule: $1,300 per year, $130 per month

6:00 p.m. Dismissal Plan Rates:

• 5 Day Schedule: $3,700 per year, $370 per month
• 4 Day Schedule: $3,300 per year, $330 per month
• 3 Day Schedule: $3,000 per year, $300 per month
• 2 Day Schedule: $2,400 per year, $240 per month

 Tutoring

GIS offers one-on-one tutoring that can be arranged through the child's teacher.

After School Clubs

GIS offers an array of fun, educational clubs for all students to join during after school hours. From soccer and gymnastics, chess and coding, piano and Pokémon, and much more, students are sure to find something that interests them. Clubs run seasonally and fees vary.

Summer Program

GIS Summer Camps are fun, adventurous, and filled with learning opportunities! They are a great way for interested families to try us out and get some exposure to foreign language learning. Look out for updated summer offerings each spring.
