Administrative Assistant

“A great community can improve your health and well-being and make life more enjoyable for everyone involved.”- Unknown

I was born and raised in a quaint town near Leipzig, Germany. Even at a young age, I had an adventurous spirit, whether it was simply taking the bus to the neighboring village or accompanying my grandmother to the local farmers’ market.

While in high school I had the opportunity to spend one year as an exchange student in Michigan. I developed a deep affection for the United States, and that feeling has never waned.

I pursued a major in Tourism Management and dedicated my career to various roles, including Sales & Marketing, Accounting, and serving as an Executive Assistant at a consulting company.

After my husband received a job offer in Portland, we wasted no time in packing our bags and relocating to the opposite side of the world. I began volunteering at the GIS Library. This experience introduced me to a wonderful community, which I consider a true blessing.

After a break raising our son, I'm thrilled to rejoin the GIS family and it’s my pleasure to greet you and be of help from my position at the Front Desk.
