A true Oregonian at heart, I spent six fulfilling years as a middle school teacher in both Portland and China, with a three-year stint in the vibrant city of Shanghai. Embracing the adventure of living abroad, I soaked up the richness of diverse cultures, relishing in trying and mastering the art of cooking international cuisines. Having explored over 13 countries, I've developed a profound appreciation for the beauty of our world. Yet, as the saying goes, there's no place like home. Now, my husband and I, along with our son, Cooper, are excitedly rediscovering the wonders of the Pacific Northwest. Eager to share my passion for education and cultural exploration, I look forward to contributing to the vibrant learning environment at GIS.
