The Hour of Code

We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works. While many of us use technology every day, only a few of us know more about computer science.

This year GSP  is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 8-14). Last year, 15 million students tried computer science in one week. This year, we're joining students worldwide to reach 100 million students!

Students practice skills that go beyond programming, they work with a partner, problem solve when they get stuck and challenge themselves with increasingly higher difficulty levels. Furthermore they will never look at Angry Birds the same.

I encourage you to explore the activities further at home. Visit the Hour of Code website for details, and help spread the word.

Herzliche Grüβe,

Stefanie Amann
