German International School

German International School Portland is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School serving students from preschool through middle school. Located in Beaverton, right outside Portland, Oregon, GIS combines rigorous academics, language learning, arts, athletics, and hands-on experiences to help students become curious thinkers, confident communicators, and engaged global citizens.

Students learn in a close-knit community where they are known by their teachers, challenged to grow, and encouraged to explore the world beyond their classroom walls. With small class sizes, an internationally minded curriculum, and a strong record of student success, GIS prepares students for top high schools and a rapidly changing world.
