Event Details:
The Lantern Parade celebrates the German Sankt Martin tradition of walking together with handmade lanterns, singing, and sharing warmth and light during the darker season.
We will gather at the Stevens Pavilion, where we’ll enjoy songs before and after each walk, along with warm cider and Weckmänner.
Both the ADA Trail and the Family Trail will be available. Each guided walk will be supported by staff and volunteers to ensure a calm and safe experience. Please leave your pets at home, and be dressed for the potential wet weather and mud on trails.
To continue our community wide effort of sustainability, we ask that you bring your own mug or small thermos to enjoy your warm apple cider out of.
If You’d Like to Join as a Volunteer:
Greeting families at the pavilion
Helping with cider and Weckmänner distribution
Singing or leading lantern songs
Walking along as an extra guide
If you’d like to help, please contact The Parent Circle!
Thank you all for supporting this tradition. Your participation and enthusiasm makes this event shine just as brightly as the lanterns themselves!
