Little Lion Dance Troupe for LNY: Sign Ups Now Open
We are thrilled to share that, with support from the Chinese Friendship Association of Portland, this year’s Lunar New Year celebration will open with a Little Lion Dance performance.
Who can join: Preschool through 4th grade
Practices: Two Sunday afternoons (details in the sign-up)
Parent project: Each family will create a cardboard lion dance head for their performer
Performance: February 20, 5:30–7:30 pm at Village Church

Light Up for the Arts: Volunteers Needed This Saturday
This Saturday’s Light Up for the Arts is shaping up to be a beautiful afternoon, and we’d love to see you there with your family and friends. And our Library will be open downstairs for holiday book check outs, too!
We are still in need of volunteers. If you can step away for a short shift during the event, your help would make a meaningful difference.

Sunshine Division Food Drive - Last Week
Our Sunshine Division barrels are almost full! We’ll bring all three to the Murray campus for Light Up for the Arts, so bring your food donations on Saturday and we’ll get the barrels ready for pick up next week.
Middle School Band Concert: Thursday, December 11
Our middle school musicians are ready to share what they’ve been working on this fall. This is their first band concert of the year, and every MS student will take part.

Join us in supporting a member of our staff and their theatre company. Gather Repertory and Penguin Productions are partnering for a festive holiday performance in Newberg.
