Laternlein #19: Inside Our Classrooms and What’s Ahead This Spring

Making Music Together in German PreK and Kindergarten

PreK and Kindergarten families are invited to join their children for a special Open Music Class during the week of February 23 to 27. This experience gives families a window into how music is taught at GIS and how rhythm, movement, and instruments support creativity, listening skills, and confidence in the classroom.

Classes will take place during each student’s regular music period in the music classroom across from the art room. Families can expect to sing, move, explore instruments, and share in the joy of learning alongside their child.

We look forward to welcoming families for this meaningful classroom experience.

Warmly,
Rebecca Carvalho
